| TREES The trees at Danchris Nursery are taken special care of in locally grown fields. We maintain a majority of our trees as well as shipping in hardy cultivators to make sure we have the best stock available. At Dancrhis Nursery, we want to provide the best quality, our soils. Each spring and fall, we will dig trees from love but do not see, ask one of our sales representatives, and they can see if one can be provided. |

| Tips to planting a B&B Tree When you get home measure the depth of the ball on your tree. (Example 24 inches) Dig a hole slightly smaller in depth and much wider in width (Example Ball=24in then depth=22 in and width= 36in to 40in) DO NOT CUT Burlap off tree!!!! Fill in with the natural soil around the tree. Make it firm enough that it won't move, but not so compact that the soil has no air space. Once planted, if there is twine around tree base, cut it away. LEAVE BURLAP ON TREE Finally make sure to water it. Lay a hose down and put on a trickle for an hour or more depending on tree. Fertilize using only a root stimulator for the first year. This will encourage root growth which is essential for tree establishment and a long future. |
